Article Body:
In my e-mail one day, I received the following message: "Hello, I am a subscriber to your ezine and received the attached e-mail. Please advise if this is actually from your website. Thank you."

The attachment was from my mailing list program. It was informing my dear subscriber that since her mail kept bouncing, "I`m not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long."

1. The Problem

Basically, I was being accused of sending unsolicited commercial e-mail. This was a double opt-in subscriber. I don`t do spam!

America Online, Inc. (AOL) had blocked my subscriber from receiving the e-zine she requested. About fifteen percent of my subscribers use an AOL e-mail address. Not only am I adversely affected, but my AOL subscribers are not getting their e-mails.

In contacting AOL sales and technical support, I found myself against a brick wall. Although, I was repeatedly offered a free trial to their service, they were unable to help me regain my subscriber.

"Why don`t you contact your subscriber and have them whitelist your e-mail address?" How? All I have is her AOL e-mail address and everything I send to her fails. Believe me, I`ve tried. (You could use another e-mail address, I suppose, to trick AOL, but why should you have to?)

Of course, they absolutely refused to remove the block against me. (If you would like to learn more about AOL, try the search terms "AOL" and "AOL sucks" in a major search engine.)

By the way, it isn`t just AOL that is doing this. Some other major Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are doing the same thing. As well, some popular e-mail software programs also filter out wanted e-mails.

2. Some Solutions

If your subscribers are not receiving your newsletter, here are some things you can do to alleviate the problem.

1. Warn your subscribers. On your newsletter signup page, explain why they might not receive your e-zine. Explain about e-mail filters; ask them to whitelist your domain, not only to bypass the ISP spam filters but also to allow mail through any e-mail software they may have.

2. Try to avoid using words that trigger spam filters. Personally, I don`t like this one; it smacks of violating my right to free speech, freedom of the press, et cetera. (Yes, I know. With rights come responsibilities. However, I am acting responsibly!) As a practical matter, though, it`s something you have to consider. (I had my newsletter checked by a popular spam checker and it passed with flying colours.)

3. Send a text e-mail informing your subscribers that the current issue of your newsletter is available online at your website. (It could also be a good move to have an archive of past issues there, too, to boost your content and search engine rankings).

4. Consider using alternative ways of communicating. For example, you might try Really Simple Syndication (RSS).

Oh, by the way, my replies (with read receipt requested) to my dear subscriber`s e-mail address appear to never have made it. To her I say: "If you`re out there somewhere, please re-subscribe. You might want to think about using a different e-mail address, though."

Decorating on a Budget? Use Old Prints

Decorating on a Budget? Use Old Prints

Transforming the mood of a room with art doesn't require a trip to a Sotheby's auction or even buying original artwork. Read on learn about an inexpensive alternative

Article Body:
Redecorating doesn't have to cost a fortune. You don't have to buy new furniture or even repaint. It's possible to change the ambience of a room simply by changing the art on the walls.

Transforming the mood of a room with art doesn't require a trip to a Sotheby's auction or even buying original artwork. Old prints, such as those from magazines and newspapers from the Victorian era, can transport you to a different age and allow your imagination to take flight.

Say that you want to redecorate your sunroom using old prints. You could go with a botanical theme, and surround yourself with antique prints of botanical gardens. For example, you could take an illustration of the Palm House Royal Botanical Gardens from an 1852 issue of "The Illustrated London News" and pair it with a 1902 old print of the Coronation Bazaar Botanical Gardens from "The Graphic." Or, you could opt for botanical prints from James Sowerby, which are hand colored. A wonderful and inexpensive way to use botanical prints in budget decorating is to create a triptych (a set of three) of Sowerby's detailed drawings that are matted and framed.

If you prefer subject matter other than botanical prints, there are a variety of themes available in old antique Victorian prints. Birds, animals, theatre, and even war themes were all common in prints from the 1800s. The detail and beautiful colors in old prints add a richness and depth to any room.

Again, keep in mind that using old prints in decorating doesn't necessarily mean that the entire room needs to reflect Victorian taste or style. In fact, the contrast between old prints and more modern decorating touches will make the room more interesting. For example, if you're a theatre buff and are decorating the room that contains your entertainment center, prints depicting actors from the Lyceum Theater in London or even theatre reviews from newspapers and magazines from that era would provide a striking contrast to your flat screen, HDTV.

However, if you do want a Victorian-era room and are decorating on a budget, you can use paint and stencils to bring your theme to life on your walls, and can inexpensively re-cover throw pillows. Consider using an old shawl to put over the back of a couch or lace to cover an end table. Instead of changing the lighting in the room, simply change the lampshades to reflect a more Victorian feel. See if you can talk your grandmother into lending you her ornate candlestick holders, and then find old prints of Victorian social life to adorn your walls.

Ultimately, decorating on a budget is about coming up with imaginative ways to bring a fresh look to your home. By using old prints from another era, you can build a bridge from the past and present while adding a layer of interest and intrigue to your room's decor.

Appraisals for Sports Memorabilia

Word Count:

Summary:
When you invest in sports memorabilia, you often don't realize how much the value can climb by the time you choose to sell. Likewise, it could decrease in value as well.

Keywords:
Sports Memorabilia, sports memories, sports

Article Body:
When you invest in sports memorabilia, you often don't realize how much the value can climb by the time you choose to sell. Likewise, it could decrease in value as well.

Appraisal is a must for the serious sports collector. People have been sorely disappointed because they didn't get their items appraised for value and then sold them for a fraction of their worth.

Some places to check for appraisals for sports memorabilia include:

1.) All Authentic Sports Memorabilia-professionals who can provide references and offer instant appraisals

2.) Vintage Sports Memorabilia Appraisals-has a sports artifacts library for thousands of vintage sports items, prefers email requests limited to two items, nothing newer than 1980.

3.) Krause Standard Catalog of Sports Memorabilia Price Guide

4.) Robert Connelly-He does clinics on appraisals. He's a member of the American Society of Appraisers and was honored by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

5.) American Legends-Provides paid appraisals, founded in 1992.

6.) Sports Memorabilia Appraisal Expert Witness-Provides an 800 #, volunteers background information to help give reference to its value as an appraisal business.

Besides the importance of appraisals for resale value, you may want to seriously consider having your valuable insured. Insurance companies also may not recognize the value unless you've had an appraisal done. Make sure you have documented proof.

There is a Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice which is recognized in courts and acceptable to banks, insurance companies, auction houses, and the IRS.
Don't just depend on a local sports shop or whatever available appraisal you come across. Also, consider that paying for more than one opinion is worthwhile if a lot of money is involved and if it gives you peace of mind.
Prices will change, so you'll want an updated value before decided to sell. Retired players hold their value better because their status won't change.

Make sure you sell to the right person or business. Just because an item is listed as one amount doesn't mean the dealer will agree to pay that amount.

Sweat stains don't necessarily make a jersey authentic. Anyone can wear a jersey long enough to sweat in it and try to pass it off as the real thing. Watch for smudged autographs, dog-eared pages in books, worn edges on cards. An appraiser should be trained to notice small details that would decrease the value of your collector's item.
There is a system with trading cards called grading. A graded card has a more reasonable guarantee of authenticity. Graded cards are sealed to discourage card switching, a low tactic of some sellers. The appraiser should know to recognize graded cards and their value.

When my daughter was involved in card collecting and bought a box of cards that seemed like a great deal to her, she was soon sorely disappointed. The only authentic card was the one in the display on the front of the box. All the rest were fakes, worthless. It was a waste of her hard-earned and long saved allowance. So beware of this type of scam when you buy a group of items. The appraisal value will be zero!

Article Body:
Most people just think that throwing some words and pictures with your business name attached to it will result in increased sales.  How wrong they are.  It is one of the reasons that there are BIG advertising companies and billions are spend on advertising each year.  Obviously, as a small business owner you don't have that kind of money.  Regardless of your advertising budget however, the bottom line is that you don't want to throw your money away to the advertisers.  You want to be paying for ads that are effective.

When writing effective ads there are two very important things that your ads need to say. First, you need to tell the customer about your business.  Your location, products, services etc.  They need to know where they can find you and what you are about.  Second, the products themselves and how they will help your client. Look at other businesses & how they use their advertising to attract customers to their business.

When writing the words within the ad, remember a few things to keep the customer interested in your ad:

* You could decrease or increase the length of your advertisement. There is no rule on how long your ad should be unless space is an issue. The ad should be long enough to sell your product.

* You could add some sub headlines within your advertisement. Sub headlines act just like headlines; they grab the reader's attention. They'll keep the readers interested as they continue to read your ad.

* You could ask your reader questions through out the advertisement. They will answer the questions in their own head as they read your ad. The questions you ask should persuade the reader into buying.

* You could highlight keywords through out your advertisement. The keywords should be attractive to your target audience. You could highlight them with color, underlines, italics, etc.

* You could bullet or indent the benefits of your product or service on your advertisement. Must people won't read a whole ad, so make the benefits from your products or services standout and you won't lose the sales from all the skimmers.

* You could change the size of your text on your advertisement. You want to make your text large enough so it's not hard to read. You also want your headline and major points to be larger so they will standout.

* You could raise or lower the price on your advertisement. A higher price could increase the perceived value of your product and a lower price could lesson your product's value.

* You could add proof of results on your advertisement. You should include testimonials, endorsements, and factual statistics to prove your product's claims.

* You could add special offers on your advertisement. It's usually easier to sell the offer than the product. You could use discounts, free bonuses, and volume discounts.

* You could eliminate the technical words in your advertisement. Unless your product calls for complex words, remove them.  You want your ad to be read without people pulling out a dictionary.

* One technique that is used often in advertising, is telling people what will happen if they buy or don't buy your product. You could show them how this will solve their problem, or "remind them" of how the problem will still exist without your product or service.

* You could end your advertisement with a question they will always say yes too. They then will be used to saying yes when you ask them to order.

* You could end your advertisement with a deadline. Tell them it's a limited time offer and they need to order by a specific date.

Using these tips will help your ads dramatically improve.  Good luck!

Top Ten Reasons Your Articles Are Declined

Top Ten Reasons Your Articles Are Declined
Word Count:
478
Summary:
Article marketing is one of the best ways to establish yourself as an expert in your field and also a great way to get links to your web site.  To increase your chances of having your article published, here is my personal list of reasons your articles are not published.

Keywords:
article, articles, sites, links, article sites, word, allow links, link, text, web, different article

Article Body:
To make sure that more of your articles get published, follow these simple guidelines and you will have a better chance of seeing your articles online.
1. Subject line is all CAPS.  You should only capitalize the first letter of each word.  All caps signifies shouting.
2. Misspelled words and incorrect grammar.  Ensure that you read and re-read your article before submitting it and check for spelling errors.
3. Article is too short or too long.  Most article web sites prefer articles in the 500 to 700 word range.
4. Article is improperly formatted.  Different word processors treat characters differently.  Sometimes a dash or an apostrophe display as question marks.  Using a text editor is better than a word processor.
5. Too many links.  Most article sites allow links in the author's resource box but having more than one or two will get your article declined.
6. Links in the articles.  Not many article sites allow links in the text of the article.  It is best to just have them in the author's resource box.
7. Improper bolding.  I can understand sub-paragraphs being bold or an occasional word bolded for emphasis.  But, you should not bold your links.
8. Incorrect HTML.  Ensure that your HTML – especially your links – are formatted properly.  I have seen many errors that make your link ineffective.  The most common errors are using an apostrophe instead of a quotation mark at the beginning and end of the link and not closing the link properly </a>.
9. Articles don't make sense.  This is usually caused by writers using some sort of a rotator or thesaurus to change the positioning of sentences or words so that when using an auto submitter, the articles are different at all the various article web sites.  I understand the reasoning to have unique articles but some of these programs don't work as well as you would like.
10. Submitting ads instead of articles.  It is best to write an article related to your product or web site instead of blatantly advertising whatever it is you are trying to sell.
This is not an all-inclusive list and reflects only one man's observations.  But, I do have about 10 different article sites and also some blogs that accept articles automatically.  I screen the articles daily and these are the guidelines I use to accept or reject articles.
I am a little more lenient on the articles submitted to the blogs.  I tend to allow links within the text more than at the purely article sites as the links are more acceptable in blog than in an article.  This is just my way of thinking – others may disagree.
Anyhow, if you follow the guide above, I think that more of your articles will be accepted.  Keep in mind that most of the article sites have their own set of submission guidelines and you should check them out before submitting.  Happy marketing.

Simple steps how to make an eye-popping Resource Box for your Articles
The internet is the information highway, this phrase has been used so may time it should be nominated for the Internet Cliché Award. People that go to the internet are subdivided into groups, but generally, they are out to search information. Whether for gaming, business, fun or anything else the internet has provided us with information that has proved to be very beneficial.
Through the recent years many people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization. More and more sites have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles.
For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Lets say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts.
A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource bow will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.
But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource bow encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.
Now we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly its driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.
So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find in the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use.
Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that can make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don't have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of imagination of a reader. With the right content, you can make them think and intrigued.
Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them.
Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldn't fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

Choosing a software application resource

Choosing a software application resource

Word Count:
789

Summary:
Its hard to choose a right software application. One can make it easy by considering some elements

Keywords:
software, solutions, choosing software. application

Article Body:
"Use the right tool for the job" is a good motto for software sourcing. There are several options for software sourcing these days. In-house development, software packages, domestic outsourcing, offshore outsourcing, and application service providers (ASPs) are all possible sources for software applications. All have their place in a software sourcing strategy. But they are not all equally suited to all tasks. Industry experience shows that in-house development and purchased software packages are the pillars of software sourcing. The rest are niche solutions.

Results from my company's latest survey, Strategic Trends in Information Technology, show that 50% of existing production applications were delivered by in-house development, 46% by purchased packages, 3% by domestic outsourcing, almost 1% by ASPs, and less than 1% by offshore outsourcing.

These results surprise many people who see them. All of the attention lavished on outsourcing and ASPs has given most people the impression that there has been a stampede to those sources. The reality is that the outsourcing and ASP markets continue to grow but their contribution to the total base of installed software is small.

In-house development and purchased software packages are the leading software sources for good reason. At the top of the list is commitment. Employees know that their success depends on corporate success. They know they need to deliver the application to support the company-and they are emotionally committed to doing so. There is no substitute for this intimate connection between project success and personal success. Even projects that use contractors or other outsiders get the benefit of this commitment as long as responsibility for project success remains within the company.

Company knowledge is another powerful element of internal projects. Employees know a lot about the company. They know the products and they know how the company operates. Most importantly, they understand company culture. They understand it because they are part of it. Not only does this help get things done, it also helps determine what is important and what's not.

Physical proximity is another asset of most internal projects. Developers and users are close enough to each other to have regular face-to-face meetings. And they often have informal contact too-the classic "coffee-pot bull-session," for example. All of this promotes better personal relationships that, in turn, promote better project results.

Internal projects have a lot going for them. It's no wonder that so much software has been delivered that way.

So what is the big argument in favor of outsourcing and ASPs over in-house development and purchased packages?

Cost, less financial cost. Quality, time to market, and other arguments are sometimes made, too, but day in and day out, the big argument in favor of outsourcing and ASPs is cost.

Cost is a powerful argument, but before any financial benefit is realized outsourcing and ASPs have to overcome major obstacles. The obstacles they face are exactly contrary to the strengths of internal projects.

Instead of employee dedication, we have the vendor's dedication to making a profit. Not an insignificant factor to be sure, but not the same as an employee's personal interest in project success.

All company knowledge that is important to the project, both factual and cultural, must be transferred from employees to the vendor. The more complex or unusual the application, the more difficult it becomes to transfer all knowledge.

The vendor is not part of the culture. The vendor is always an outsider, at least to some extent. This makes it difficult for the vendor to know the subtleties that can make the difference between success and failure. It can even make it difficult to communicate less-subtle knowledge.

Distance makes regular face-to-face meetings between developers and users rare on many outsourced projects. On some offshore outsourcing projects there may be no such meetings. A representative of the outsourcer meets with company representatives and relays information to developers, who remain offshore. Distance also complicates simple communication like phone calls, when team members have to struggle with eight-, ten-, or twelve-hour time differences.

All of these things can be overcome, or at least managed, but external projects have trouble competing directly with internal projects. The implication of this is that internal and external projects are not suited for the same types of projects. The more commodity-like the project the better suited it is for external development. The more unique-which usually means the more critical to corporate success-the better suited it is for internal development. This can also be applied within a large project by contracting out for the simple functions and using internal development for the subtle or complex functions.

If there is any trick to software sourcing, it is to ignore the hype and focus on the job at hand. Then it's just a matter of using the right tool for the job.

It's definitely "OUT with the old and ordinary and IN with the new and adventurous".  For 2,400 years, the standard necktie has been a staple.  For many it is hard to break the tried and true habit of wearing the safe, secure standard print tie like our ancestors before us.  Many of our standard prints and designs have been around for decades.  Yes, ties have become wider at the ends, but little else has changed for a long, long time.

Neckties could be among the oldest, longest lasting examples of a clothing item acting as a symbol.  China's first emperor had a huge army that was duplicated in terracotta upon his death and each wrapped with a necktie.  Why did they each have a necktie?  We may never know for sure, but many scholars believe it was meant to show unity with the emperor.

With new innovations in technology and lower costs, we now have the chance to develop our own custom ties with whatever design we choose.  Fortune 500 companies are making ties that feature their company logos, characters, products or colors and they are making waves in the workplace.  Not only do custom ties and scarves serve as effective product branding, but they also allow company employees to feel like they are part of an exclusive group.  This creates unity and camaraderie.

Custom neckties, often called logo ties or corporate ties, are becoming more and more accepted across the globe as companies, medical schools, fraternities, alumni groups and other organizations decide they want a tie or scarf to display what they are all about.  They want to be unique and create a fellowship of togetherness that is usually only seen when everyone wears a same uniform.  A custom tie is a way to show that everyone is on the same team.  Whether you want to design a traditional "Brooks Brothers" look or a bold, bright, eye-catching corporate logo design, nothing is off limits now days.  It just depends on what you want your ties to express.  The possibilities are limitless.

Custom ties and scarves are also very affordable when purchased from the right supplier.  And remember that anyone can make custom neckwear…but few have the ability to create award-winning designs that will make your custom ties and scarves really "pop".  It is easy to recognize the value of well designed, limited edition ties in creating corporate identity or renewed traditions in fraternities and alumni groups.

After all these years, why do people still buy and wear neckties?  There is no simple answer, but ties continue to be seen as symbols.  They bind groups and teams together whether those in a corporate environment, fraternity or on an athletic team.  Not only do ties bind people to a common cause, they also motivate.

Fashion trends may come and go, but neckwear endures – for solid historical and cultural reasons. Custom ties create a fashion statement for others looking to escape the very conservative, traditional tie.  Remember that new and adventurous is in.  Old and stuffy is out.  Have fun designing your very own custom tie; you'll be glad you did.

People love getting free gifts. So, naturally, if your product comes with free gifts, people will be more inclined to buy. Offering free gifts/bonuses is one of the most powerful ways to increase your internet sales. This is because adding bonuses actually increases the perceived value of your product.

This approach works on human nature. People naturally want the most out of life. You need to convince them that what they are buying is worth more than their money. And people simply hate spending money. What people love is getting something for free. This is where adding bonuses and free gifts come in handy.

Most people don't want to lose out on the opportunity of acquiring something for free. This will always convert more people into paying customers, who would have otherwise left your site unconvinced.

The great thing about internet marketing is that it's easy to create bonuses. Digitally downloadable information can be created fairly easily, and at no additional cost to you.

You can write up a special report, an audio or video file, or any other information product that relates to your niche. These all have very high-perceived value, and when you offer them for free, your conversions will soar. Many people may even be drawn to make the purchase not for the product itself, but for the bonuses they get with it.

You should try to get the perceived value of your bonuses to equal at least 3 times that of your actual product/service. For example, if your product sells for $99, then the value of your bonuses should come to about $300.

This is quite easy. With any information product, you are the one creating the price for it. As long as it is valuable (which it always should be) you can sell a special report for as much as $97. Be sure to tell your customer all the wonderful benefits the bonus will give them in your sales copy, or else they won't see the value in it.

Always point out in your sales copy the exact amount that the bonus is worth, but that they get it free with the purchase. Instill that word "free" into your customers' minds, without being obnoxious.

You may think that creating bonuses sounds like a lot of work, but believe me… the effort you put into it now will be nothing compared to the results you'll get!

You must find a good niche in internet marketing, check the stats. Type your seed keyword for that niche into a keyword tool to find out how many searches it gets every month. It's best to stay over 10,000 searches. (Obviously, the more the better.)

You then need to check to see if it's overly competitive. Go to Google, Yahoo!, and MSN search engines. Type into the search in quotes "your seed keyword". On the sidebar there should be a total number of search results.

With Google, it's best to stay under 1,000,000 results. With Yahoo!, under 500,000. And with MSN, under 300,000. This will keep your competition at a minimum, and obviously, the less the better with these numbers. These figures are what I go by; however, you will get different recommendations from different internet marketers.

Once you find a niche that fits into the above criteria, type the keyword into Google and scan through the websites that come up. See what other people are selling, if there are people selling at all. You may find that there is so much free information, that it would be practically impossible to sell anything in it.

There are many reasons your website needs a search engine optimisation (SEO) consultant to help your website achieve more.

Many people will try and go it alone in the search engine optimisation process and in the majority of cases this is an erroneous decision and does not get yield the results for your website within the search engines that a seo consultant could get you.

If you are seriously looking at doing your websites optimisation yourself you need to ask yourself the following questions:

1.How precious is your time?

As a business owner your time is very precious and is not normally best spent trying to optimise your website, it is normally better spent running your business. Many website owners believe that they will save money by optimising their own website but this rarely turns out to be the case. Search engine optimisation is a time consuming and complex process and should not be underestimated, and after all if you are investing all of this time trying to be an seo consultant and optimising your website, who's running your business?

2.Do you have the skills?

Optimising a website is a complicated process and not something that can just be picked up and learnt in 5 minutes. There are hundreds of criteria that the search engines will use to analyse websites and a good SEO consultant will be familiar with all of them.

3.Can you get it right?

This is where most diy'ers get is wrong and getting it wrong when it comes to search engine optimisation is a big problem. Every good SEO consultant knows that there are certain pitfalls that must be avoided at all costs. If you do not know what you are doing and make the mistake of falling foul to one of those may pitfalls then your website can go from hero to zero and then your website ends up banned from the search engines.

4.Aren't you biased?

Most website owners are biased and believe they know best when it comes to their website but this often leads to many problems including the age old problem of not being able to see the wood for the trees. One of the main problems comes when choosing keywords as the keywords people search for are normally not the keywords website owners believe them to be. An SEO consultant knows this and will ensure the right keywords are used and not ignored.

5.Can you keep it up?

Search engine optimisation is an ongoing process of testing, measuring and optimising. It is not something that can be done once and left alone so you need to ensure you are in it for the long term.

The bottom line is if you are serious about your business and your search marketing campaign then you need an experienced SEO consultant.
